libncarg-dev software package provides Development files for the NCAR command language library, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libncarg-dev
libncarg-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libncarg-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libncarg-dev *
You will get with libncarg-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
